Don't just take our word on how great a Headiton Holiday can be, check out just some of our previous customers reviews on their time with us.
"Lovely Peaceful Holiday"
We came across this
site when looking for somewhere that was dog friendly, and reasonably priced, we found both.
When we arrived, we received a lovely welcome and were shown to our caravan, which was spotless. The caravan had lovely views, and the site was so peaceful. The sunsets were amazing. We went the last week of September, and were blessed with wonderful weather. The nearest supermarkets are just a few miles away, and there are plenty of takeaways for when you don't want to cook.
The owners have set up an area for exercising your dogs, which was brilliant for the late night walks.
We did have a problem with the television, but the owners couldn't have been more helpful in resolving the problem.
Thank you for a lovely week.
Set high above the
Moray firth with great views across the water. This is a quiet, 11 caravan site, with all the vans having wonderful views. The vans are spotless, with really well equipped kitchens, lovely clean beds
and thick fluffy towels. We stayed in the budget, dog friendly van and the 4 birth centrally heated van (we wanted 2 weeks at short notice) Both vans had everything you needed. The only difference
was the age/standard of the fittings- the central heating was lovely though on the chilly mornings!
The owner Tom was great, friendly and helpful. Nothing was too much trouble. We had a great time - with the added bonus of fantastic weather (but sadly that can't be guaranteed!) But a big plus is NO MIDGES!!! This is due to being on the coast- sea breeze.
To sum up-a lovely quiet site with spotless vans and a helpful owner. What more could you want?
"Had a lovely weeks break"
Had a great week in the Banff area. Even the weather was okay. The caravan was spotless and had eveything we needed. The site is dog friendly and has a nice wee walk layed out for you to exercise your dog.
"What a view"
views, the sunsets are not to be missed. Ideal for our two dogs as they loved the dog walking area. Peaceful area with helpful and friendly owners. The only problem we had was trying to find dog
friendly pubs. The owners of the site have set themselves a mission now to research and compile a list for next season.
Thanks for a great holiday Malc and Karen Blower and DIzzy the collie and Freddie the jack Russel.
"Lovely wee retreat"
Me and the boyfriend
decided we wanted a couple of days up north and he found this caravan park online. We were both immediately taken with the seaview it provided and so the boyfriend emailed on Friday night to ask if
they had any availability for the Sunday and Monday night. We got a reply back on the Saturday to say they had indeed, and the deal was so reasonable we decided to go for
We both absolutely loved it - we loved how cosy it was and the views were amazing. The sunsets were absolutely spectacular! I've only ever stayed in a caravan once and this one blew it out of the water. The caravan we were in even had central heating, there were more tv channels than I have in my flat, and I was able to get fairly decent mobile signal to access my beloved Internet. The bed was comfy and the only hindrance to me getting a good sleep on the second night was the boyfriend's snoring. Sadly something Tom and Elaine can do nothing about (if only!) ;-)
We didn't need to worry about bringing towels or (most importantly) a bottle opener/corkscrew as these were all provided. Plenty of storage space too. We had a two bedroom caravan for the two of us and I think had there been four of us we would still have had plenty of space, both to move around in and also store all our belongings.
It was so peaceful and our dealings with Elaine (by email) and Tom (in person) were great. Tom gave us lots of helpful tips about places to go in the area - there are just so many places to vist! - and there were also tons of leaflets about the area in the caravan too, much to the boyfriend's delight. (He loves a good leaflet.)
We loved it, would thoroughly recommend it, and will definitely be returning soon. 5 stars from us!
"Fantastic Peaceful Park"
I stayed here in April with my family. We were made to feel very welcome with the owners and nothing was to much bother for them . Caravan absolutely spotless with tea and coffee laid on for your arrival, great if you had forgot to bring these with you. Bedding towels kitchen wear all provided. I got a great reception with my phone also. My dog was made to feel wanted as well, there was a good bit of ground for him to run around on. Luckily I know the area well so I knew were I was going, but some of the small villages round about are stunning, they are a must to see. . I can't rate this place enough for a quiet break away from the hustle and bustle.
"Great little holiday park"
This is a lovely little holiday park and is ideal if you have dogs. There is a decent dog walk round the site for the hounds' walks first thing in the morning and last thing at night. The caravan was spotless and having towels and bedding provided made a huge difference when it came to packing the car. It was a bit cold when we arrived (it was April, after all) but the caravan heated up very quickly and the heaters kept the bedroom and bathroom warm overnight.
We have just come back from a Monday - Friday family break and everyone has asked when we are going back. The Caravan was just perfect everything had been thought of and provided, from a brew when you got there to the fire being turned on. This was very welcome as we had just been driving for 8 hours. The hosts were lovely people very accommodating and helpful. I would recommend that anyone wanting a holiday with beautiful coastlines, harbors and scenery definitely gives this part of Scotland and this camp a visit.
